Water. It is as Simple as That.
Did you shower today? Did you wash
your hands? Did you wash your teeth? Did you go to the bathroom? You may think
all of these questions are random, but in fact they can be center of someone
else’s life.
This
morning while you were taking a shower, did you ever stop and think of what it
actually takes for that water to reach your bathroom? Somewhere across the
globe, someone just like you, was certainly wondering why they had no water,
some not even a shower.
Each day, water becomes much more
than right, it becomes a necessity. It is a necessity that lies out of reach of
an alarming amount of people. Today, 97% of water is salty, making it
undrinkable. That means that 3% of the water on earth drinkable. There are
seven billion people on earth. Seven billion people that have to share 3% of
all of the earth’s water.
Next time you take a shower, next
time you wash your hands, next time you wash you teeth, next time you go to the
bathroom stop for a minute and appreciate. Stop for a minute and be thankful
for the water you are given. The human body is 60% of water, yet some people don’t
even have that 1%.
Excellent Fran!
