Poverty=Hunger
Extreme poverty is something every citizen must be concern about. The amount of people living in extremely bad conditions is unacceptable. According to World Bank, 12.7% of the world population get payed less than $1.90. This amount of money doesn't give you for anything. The major problem in being extremely poor is that it leads you towards hunger. With this amount of money you can't buy food, therefore, lots of people are dying of hunger. About 1 billion people are suffering from hunger! This number is absurd. I can relate to this situation since in my country I see almost everyday homeless people. In order for them to survive they look for food in the trashcans and eat whatever they find. This problem can be fix it just takes time. As we saw in a Ted Talk in class, there sufficient amount of food to feed everyone in the world, but the problem is food is not distributed properly. If everyone donated food and gave once in a while food to homeless people, hunger really diminish rapidly. We have what we need to fix this problem, it just takes a little effort for the ones who are privilege to help the ones that aren't.
