Who am I?

My name’s Juan Marco Arostegui, I am from a small island called the Dominican Republic. Even though I have Swiss nationality I consider myself to be more a Dominican that anything else. I go to a school called Carol Morgan. This has been the school I have gone to since i can remember. Throughout the years I have made tons of friends and seen the school transform from what was an “ok” school to an awesome school. Because of this I feel like this place is almost a second home to me. Walking Down the hallways every morning and seeing the faces of teachers which have taught me since the time when I was starting to read, I just can't imagine myself in another school apart from this one. Santo Domingo is the capital city in which Carol Morgan is located. This city is filled with joy and lots of places where I love going. I can't picture my childhood being someplace else. Apart from the capital I also love going to other places in the countryside like La Romana and Las Terrenas. These are places where we Dominicans go to vacation over the weekend and go to the beaches. If there is something with which we are recognized the most, it is our beaches.Beaches in the Dominican Republic are famously beautiful and are the main tourist attraction. Apart from beaches there are other places to vacation, which would be the mountains. My favorite place in the mountains is called Jarabacoa. I own a house here which is very beautiful and has many family memories. This is a place to relax compared to La Romana which is more about going to parties and having fun. Jarabacoa is a nice spot to be with your family and spend time surrounded by wilderness instead of the chaos in the city. Apart from vacationing I love to stay in my house and chill sometimes. I like to play video games in the computer and Skype with my friends at the same time. This I do mostly in the weekends because of homework in the week. I also love doing sports, for example, I love weight lifting and playing soccer. These are my two main sports that  I do normally.
