SHIT

                       The lack of water and sanitation is a huge problem now days. It is bigger than you think it is. You probably have a toilet in your home and probably most people you know have one too. 1 in 3 people have to open defecate. This is when people defecate out side. Meaning the shit is left out in the open contaminating the community around it. Human feces includes 234 different pathogens such as: Salmonella, E. Coli, Cryptosporidium. 1.4 million children die each year because of human feces. This is about 1 child every 20 seconds.

                       There are many solutions to this. Bill Gates is donating 42 million dollars to the person who invents a new toilet. The toilet can’t use electricity, plumped water, and a sewer system. It must also be cheap and easy to install. There are multiple countries that have presented different ideas but a winner is yet to be determined.

                       All these problems could be solved with hard work and dedication. Bill Gates has a really good plan and it might succeed. The problem is getting the people onboard with changing their new toilets. People will know it’s going to be better for but it an extra step. People like there simple life and everyone does not like change.
